Caro takes us on a journey to housing cooperatives in Munich. She lives in a cooperative flat and has worked for 3 years for a project that focuses on housing cooperatives. In her podcast, we will find out how affordable housing in big cities is still possible, how resources are shared there, and what this all has to do with the doughnut economy and planetary boundaries.

Addressed Planetary Boundaries/ Doughnut Economy (Ecological Ceiling): climate change, chemical pollution, freshwater withdrawals, land conversion, air pollution

Addressed spheres Doughnut Economy (Social Foundation): health, income& work, peace & justice, social equity, gender equality, housing, energy

This episode also features the voice of Lukas Kiefer.

This podcast is part of a larger compendium, where we explore different thoughts and frameworks that can guide sustainable development towards a future inside of our planetary boundaries. Of crucial importance are the ideas of planetary health and the doughnut economy, operating as the overarching concepts behind our research.

The compendium is the work of an international students group of the master's programme Global Change Management (GCM) class 2021, from the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development.
