Even If It Kills Me is a narrative documentary podcast, chronicling the lives of Jon, Mac, Ryan, and Pete as they set out across the country and try to make it as rock stars in the bygone era of the â00s. Written and narrated by the bandâs steadfast companion Aaron Joy, Even If It Kills Me uses contemporary interviews and archival recordings to pull back the curtain on the nitty-gritty inner workings of tour life, all unfolding during the music industryâs own fall of Rome, as massive technological shifts upended business models that had existed for decades. Produced by Fang Workshop (the outfit behind films like Mark, Mary, & Some Other People and Wrinkles The Clown), the podcast is part Almost Famous, part Bad News Bears, part This American Life.AARON JOY (writer/narrator) is a writer and voice actor originally from western New York. He is the writer and co-creator of the podcast Even If It Kills Me, which is his first major project of any kind. Prior to creating the podcast, Aaron spent over 10 years working for Apple as a repair technician. He currently lives in Long Beach, CA with his wife and their cat.Would like to recommend a podcast to our readers. WHAT:  Killing Justice investigates how one manâs death has become a lodestone for increasingly polarized politics in India. From Crooked Media and The Branch. When a judge in India dies of a heart attack, his passing barely makes the news. But when his niece approaches a journalist two years later, she shares a different story: that the circumstances around Judge Brijgopal Loyaâs death have made his family doubt the official story.Following the reporting and legal fallout that arise from this tip, host Ravi Gupta examines the conflicting evidence and grapples with the broader implications a single night in the city of Nagpur has on the worldâs largest democracy.Releasing against the backdrop of Indiaâs election, Killing Justice invites listeners into the shadowy world of Indiaâs political power players, including Amit Shah, a longtime operative who helped catapult Modi to political dominance, who is at the center of the Judge Brijgopal Loya case. The Trial of Lord Lucan launches for a week-long podcast series that asks listeners to be the jury in one of the most elusive crimes in British history. In 1974, British aristocrat Richard John Bingham, otherwise known as Lord Lucan, became the prime suspect in the murder of his childrenâs nanny, Sandra Rivett. He vanished soon after the incident, sparking one of the most sensational manhunts in Britain and leaving justice undone. Until now. On the 50-year anniversary of his disappearance, this brand-new podcast is holding the trial that never was.  Hosted by journalists Caroline Cheetham and Stephen Wright, The Trial of Lord Lucan will bring together prosecutor, Max Hardy, and defence barrister, Edward Henry KC, to finally decide whether Lord Lucan was guilty or not guilty.  The hosts and legal minds will use exclusive, never-before-seen documents written by Det Chief Supt Roy Ranson, who headed the 1974 murder investigation and spent most of his career searching for the elusive Lucan. Every day from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th June, audiences will hear the trial unfold and discover new information never disclosed to the public before. Listeners will then their say in a live public vote, with the final verdict being announced the following week.Would like to recommend a podcast to our readers.
