Track Lunch
Two best friends and bandmates of 20 years, Rich and Brian, “unpack” their proverbial lunch boxes filled with music related morsels of all sorts. Engaging in well balanced debates, definitive answers aren’t always easy to find, but their entertaining discussions are the essential part of each “meal.” Let’s make a lunch out of it!
Christian Lee Hutson : Quitters
Don your emotional hairshirt and unpack your emotional baggage alongside Brian and Rich as they dissect the latest release from Christian Lee Hutson, Quitters. The guys ruminate on the musical stylings and songcraft of CLH as well as debate how a different approach to production might add to or diminish the "soul" of his songs. They then try and guess each other's favorite track before exploring pretty much the entire batch. With vibes ranging from "likely to be heard on your next visit to the mall", to eerie and downright haunting, the beautiful arrangements, elegant in their simplicity, wrap CLH's "every man" yet somehow painfully poignant lyrics like a warm blanket. We hope you enjoy this gem of an album as much as we (especially Rich) did. I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying: let's make a lunch out of it. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
