Hi tatertots! Welcome to our podcast!! So happy you are here. We are just 3 friends who put ourselves out there on social media and ended up finding each other. We have so much in common but realized so does everyone else, so why not connect together and that’s what we will do here. We will talk about mental health, toxic family, daily struggles with motherhood, infertility, depression and so much more. We have all been through so much but it’s how we get through things in the end. Stay tuned! Connect: IG- @ophelianichols TT- @shoelover99, @themessytherapist, @mellissaprice7 shoelover99.com
Episode 33: Saturday Morning Chats with Opie
In today’s episode, Opie decides to take y’all along with her on a drive to just chat about how life has been recently. What she has been up to travel wise, what she has to look forward to and things that she has been dealing with. As well as a special shout out to all of our LGBTQ+ tater tots, we wish you a happy pride month! Please know that if you don’t have acceptance at home, you certainly do with us. You are loved, wanted and accepted just as you are! If you’d like to email us your comments, questions, suggestions or to just vent to us (we are not therapists but we will try to be there for you in the best way we can) you can do that at [email protected]. We would love to hear your input! As always, be better, not bitter. We love you and will be back soon!

Episode 32: Roe vs Wade Talk
TW: Political talk, mentions of COVID and abortion, some coarse language. This episode we talk about the current events going on in the US with roe vs wade. No matter what your beliefs may be, it is important that we remain kind - and remember that we are all human. Everyone has a reason for what they choose to do. And while you may not agree with abortion, or even like the idea of it, there are many reasons why someone may choose to or need to have one. We believe that no one should have a say over what someone else does with their body. Bodily autonomy should not be a privilege, it should be a right. If you are in a situation where you are afraid for what could happen to you, or don’t know what to do regarding anything mentioned in this episode, please reach out to someone. If you do not have someone to reach out to, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Although we are not professionals, we will find the resources for you. Thank you for your continued support and remember to be kind to yourself and others. Always! We will be back with a new episode next week ♥️

Episode 30: Being Used
Hey Tater Tots! This episode is special because Rissa is finally back after her being away for months. This is the first time we have recorded with all three of us since before Christmas so we are extremely excited to be together again. On this episode we talk about our experiences being used by other people to benefit them. Please remember that if someone is using you in a way to benefit themselves, it is more than okay for you to set boundaries with them. It is not a reflection of you, but it is a reflection of who they are. As always, thank you for your continued support and for listening to our podcast! Stay tuned for next weeks episode. Don’t forget to subscribe to Opie’s YouTube “Ophelia Nichols” and to follow us on TikTok! We are finally catching up with emails and look forward to hearing from you all. Episode 28: “What Would You Do?” Chats with Opie
TW: mentions of abuse.. This weeks episode is just with Opie! In it, she talks about her past with her mother and asks for the listeners input on what they would do if they were in the situation she is currently dealing with. This is an important episode to her, and a subject that weighs on her heart. Unfortunately, some of us are not born with loving parents and sometimes we have to make decisions that will benefit our mental health. Even if they are difficult to make. Please check out Opie’s Instagram post (@Ophelianichols) and share your thoughts and feelings, if you don’t have Instagram, she has also made the same post on Facebook and looks forward to hearing from you all! Next week we will hopefully all be back on the podcast and look forward to recording together! Be sure to subscribe to Opie’s TikTok while you are at it - you can find it in the linktree in her TikTok bio or by simply searching “Ophelia Nichols” on YouTube! If you don’t want to publicly comment but have something to say regarding this episode or anything else you may want to discuss with the three of us, you can email us at [email protected]! Thank you for your support! We love and appreciate you all.

Episode 26: Christmas, Mental Exhaustion and New Years
This is another episode without a specific topic, due to the holidays, missing Rissa and our mental health we have tried to keep things light and just talk about whatever. Episode 25: Life Stories, Mardi Gras and Christmas
Hey tater tots! This weeks episode is just two of us due to Rissa being caught up in school and life’s craziness. We didn’t pick a topic this week so we talked about all sorts of things. Episode 24: Divorce and Co-Parenting
In this episode we have a special guest on our podcast, our friend Kim from New York! We are grateful to have her join us to talk about the experiences we have had with divorce and co-parenting. We also talk about the importance of not staying in a relationship that you are unhappy with just for your children. Kids really do pick up on everything around them and they would rather see their parents happy and separated than miserable but staying together. It’s important to know that a healthy co-parent relationship doesn’t happen overnight, it takes work and it’s not always easy. But it is possible! Whatever you are going through, be it divorce, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in an unhappy marriage just know that it’s okay to put yourself first. It’s important to do so! Thank you for listening to this weeks episode and for continuing to support us. We will be back next week with another new episode for y’all! As always, you can email us at [email protected] with questions, comments, suggestions or if you just need someone to talk to… and don’t forget to follow us on TikTok @shoelover99 (@Mamatot99 is the backup account) , @themessytherapist and @mellissaprice7! We love y’all.
