I used to like this show, but it is clear to me this is only about Steph and Cody praising their friends and singling out locals and local businesses for ridicule and bullying. Case in point: before Steph even met me, she grilled Cody on air about my sex life. No consent, no notification. Such a violation rooted in her ignorance about the LGBTQ community and her subconscious homophobia. You’ll find lots of micro aggressions every time she opens her mouth. Moving on to more mature media.

Ok new Topa Talk fan … but after moving to Ojai & jumping on board in season 4, I was bummed to learn the news of Cody’s departure. That being said, the first 2 episodes of season 5 are fire. Steph’s people are interesting, honest & funny. Let’s be friends? Glad Cody is not gone gone & loving the news segment so I can stay up to date as a new local. Can’t wait to keep listening. Steph’s struck gold & I’m here for it!

I just got home from a run and this is the 10th (10th!!) time I’ve been listening to the podcast and couldn’t stop uncontrollably laughing…alone…mid stride…with many witnesses. I look insane, but can’t stop listening. It’s the only thing that’s been getting me out the door!

Ok this podcast is so fun! I honestly look forward to my morning walks or longer drives just to listen to these two. I love the interview, local support dynamic with the gossipy, personal and vulnerable sides. Who doesn’t love to know some fun gossip?! But also learning about your community and sometimes throwing in a moment of relatable tenderness in there. They have great chemistry and balance each other out so well. They really make you laugh and I just want to be bffs with them! Shout out to the NoizBoiz!!

This show is great, I have been listening for a few months and I always look forward to it. Sometimes it makes me feel more connected to Ojai. Like who knew there were backyard sex classes in meiners oaks. My favorite thing is that during pride month you guys talked about lgbtq+ topics! I love it when Cody explains Real Housewives. Also, in regards to the most recent episode, frozen grapes are genuinely my favorite food so I was surprised to say the least at your comments.

Cody & Stephanie are hilarious and this very well may be my favorite podcasts. I love that I can keep tabs on my hometown even though I’m hours away, and I love the mix of playful, lighthearted conversation while also approaching more serious & important topics. Can’t wait to keep listening!

I love hearing the gossip of my hometown and it’s really fun to hear it from the point of view of my old friend Cody, a local, and Stephanie, who found her home in Ojai more recently. What I love about this podcast is the way these two are just such a great mix of fun, humor, vulnerability, information, and chaos. They are unpretentious, willing to make mistakes, and listening feels like sitting around with friends just having a great time gossiping, making jokes, and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs. Definitely one of the most enjoyable podcasts I have in rotation. It’s very Ojai centric but they don’t make you feel like an outsider if you’re not from there. They are funny, entertaining and will always give you the hot takes you need to hear. Please give them a listen. You will not be disappointed!!

Honestly one of the best podcasts ever. I’m into all the Ojai tea that includes hearing about Justin Bieber’s new ojai home, Annie Hathaways real name, and learning the definition of what an Ojai transplant is. Lived in Ojai my entire life and this is what it was missing all along. Cody and Stephanie are also hilarious and I love listening in my car on the way to work!!

One of the only podcasts I genuinely find myself anxiously waiting and excited for new episodes. Hosts do a wonderful job of keeping us listeners engaged and making us feel like we can join in on the conversation at any time! While also making me feel like I’m in the loop and in the know of all things town related. Every time I know there’s a new episode, it makes my daily commute so much more enjoyable!

I never miss an episode of Topa Talk! Stephanie and Cody are hilarious and genuine, and never fail to light up my day. When the podcast first started, it focused on interviewing a creative, talented and charming cast of makers and entrepreneurs—Topa Talk taught me about small scale farming, budget wine shopping and how to generally build a thing! Cody and Stephanie have since shaken things up with a bunch of new creative concepts and formats (shout out Quick Cuts). I can’t wait to see what else they have in store and will continue to laugh along with every new episode!

This podcast is like a sip of a Mojito. Refreshing with a little kick. Miss Melissa but Cody brings off the wall personality that is the Ying to Stephanie’s Yang. Can’t wait to see what you come out with in 2021 🤌🏻

I listened for the first time today, the hosts don’t take themselves too seriously but are serious about their content, (kinda). If you listen carefully you will get some golden comedy gems. Favorite lines from the conspiracy show, “Shen Yun wants to harvest Gay Organs” “Bill Gates wants you to combat the Corona Virus by downloading Windows 2000”

Love these ladies. They have a great rapport and cut to the chase with their questions.
