Episode 9- The Slam Poetry One
Tik Tok made me do it? I'm sharing some of my poetry with the encouragement and request of wonderfully kind individuals from TikTok (after sharing some poetry videos on the platform recently) that explores themes such as love and heartbreak, depression, traveling, placelessness, and the overall transience of life. A few of these poems are from a specific segment titled 'From Me to You' which is an ongoing collection of poems I've written about people in my life, unmarked, who have affected me throughout the way.

Episode 8- The Valentines Day Special
In this episode, I bring on my best friend Ashley (again!) to talk about our old 1D obsessions, uncovering how she ran a famous Twitter fan account and how I wrote fanfiction on Wattpad that went viral. We talk celebrity encounters- seeing Lil Uzi at a Wawa, passing by J-lo from six feet away, paying money to see Trisha Paytas eat Dominos pizza, and Ashley sneaking into a Halsey meet and greet. I talk about the time a famous musician's guitarist asked me out on a date (kinda?) and more! Ashley also offers great advice to singles and offers to bake Valentines day cakes.

Episode 7- The Time My Uber Driver Insisted on Being My Sugar Daddy
In this episode, I talk about some of the nightmares of womanhood through some personal (funny? weird? borderline scary?) experiences during college- like the time my uber driver played redbone by Childish Gambino for me before locking me into his Tesla and insisting on being my sugar daddy, and also the time I was told I was being watched during the week by a (sorta?) stalker during my internship commute.

Episode 6- Confessions of Two Awkward Middle Schoolers
In this guest episode, I bring on my best friend, Ashley, to uncover details about our cringy middle school experiences- ranging from personalized sex-ed lessons from my 9th-grade crush that turned sour, reading my embarrassing diary entries, an insider look at freshman year in an all-girls private high school, and our overall inability to flirt- we get honest. We expose ourselves on our obsessive usage of the pendulum our sophomore year of college to summon our crushes, one Bumble boy's obsession with Ashley in the baby filter, and more! Thank you Ashley for kindly joining me on today's episode.

Episode 4- Navigating Creative Spaces as a POC
Talking about the ways BIPOC creatives can mitigate creative oppression in the artistic world/creative industries, how self-expression and creativity is a pivotal component to prospering as a POC artist in the workplace, the difference between 'tokenizing' and 'diversifying' and the harsh reality of black and brown individuals being tokenized within the industry. I also have some good Netflix show recommendations if you're looking to see diversity on your screen centered around thought-provoking topics of activism, perceived identities, and racism!
