I’ve read the books and seen the movie so many times that it’s really interesting for me to hear someone explicitly compare and contrast them.

This is by far one of the best Tolkien podcasts to date! Not only do they do extreme deep dives into the movies compared to the books but Andie and Kali are two of the most intelligent, down to earth hosts on any podcast platform! You want to learn Tolkien inside out while reminiscing about the movies? This is the one for you.

Whether you’re a newcomer to Tolkien, someone just exploring his works, or a long time fan, this podcast is awesome. Fun, informative, very knowledgeable and honestly just beautiful to compliment your reading or satisfy your curiosity. 10 out of 10, don’t miss it!

It is what it says it is, a conversation with friends, not scholars or academics or “experts”(some of the experts are cool tho) just hanging out. Wonderful voices and ideas and laughs.

This is one of the best Tolkien podcasts out there if you’re someone who has only seen the films OR if you’ve only seen them once. Andie, Ahanna, Kali, and their guests do a great job of sorting through the PJ choices for each adaptation and comparing them to the books. What’s more, it feels like you’re right there with them, joining in the conversation. This is a great way to connect with the Tolkien community and to get into deeper readings of the texts.
