Great and detailed information about living in Tokyo from a US couple who are not there as teachers.

This podcast is incredibly informative, with literally countless tips, tricks, hints to make your journey into Japan easier and less boundary-laden. The host, Phil and Jen, are easy to like and enjoyable to listen to. Only reason why I didn’t give them a five star rating is because, like a lot of other new Podcasters, they seem to accept this notion that you should talk about irrelevant information like what you have done that day to start the episode off, and it’s an incredible waste of time for the listener. I don’t know what sources out there are telling podcast-makers that this of great interest to us, but it’s not.

I recently became interested in Japan and Japanese culture. I started looking for more information on Japanese culture, especially from an American perspective, and it’s been an awesome/fun source of information. Phil and Jen have such great chemistry too, makes it more fun to listen to.
