Tawny, a NYC based millennial, also known as The Sober Sexpert, started a blog in 2015, called SobrieTea Party, to learn about her relationship with alcohol and why she drank the way she did. The blog served as her accountability. Now, What began as a year-long social experiment has far surpassed the one-year mark, evolving into myriad of sobriety-related projects which includes: publishing a book, international public speaking, and co-hosting an award-winning podcast. Tawny is passionate about smashing stigmas associated with both sexuality and sobriety

Tawny’s book, Dry Humping: A Guide to Dating, Relating, and Hooking Up Without Booze, comes out September 19th, 2023. She is the co-host of the Signal Award-winning “Best Buddy” podcast, Recovery Rocks, and mom to a one-eyed cat named Meg White.
