As an avid traveler, whose daughter lives in Scotland (so I go often), this was painful to listen to. If you’re going to visit another country please research ahead of time to prevent issues and disappointments, like the weather and lack of a/c. There’s no reason to rent a car there either. There’s so many things you did that I’d advise against. I appreciate everyone sharing their experiences so future visitors know what not to do.
