“Our experiences do not determine what we know to be true.” We typically use our senses to determine if our food is good to eat. Conversely, we must train our senses and experiences to bend to the truth of God. We only know what is true and good and real because we know the Author of truth and goodness and reality.

“I am not called to be put together. I am called to be held together in Christ.“ In the midst of being quarantined with a mild case of Covid, when I am too busy to be sick, I have found a deeper understanding in coming to Jesus, when I am laboring and heavy laden, and learning to rest in Him.

An analogy of forgiveness, bitterness, and the Way Maker.

When our reactionary thankfulness to comfortable circumstances grow deeper, to become a consistent gratitude hinged on the goodness of God. Rather than an on-again-off-again attitude of gratitude, it must become a habit; a HABITUDE of gratitude. “I wanted to sincerely thank Jesus for not only using hard things in my life to His glory, but for ordaining hard things in my life to His glory.“
