What a fun interview show! Titular Characters strikes the perfect balance between geeky and accessible, and all guests have been fantastic so far. I started just listening to the episodes featuring people I was familiar with, like Erik Larsen and Tom Brevoort, but soon enough I was making my way through the rest of the catalogue. Looking forward to future conversations!

“Titular Characters” is a delight. This show is to comics what James Lipton’s “Inside the Actors’ Studio” is to acting. Your mistress-of-ceremonies is the talented & adorable Eva Webb as she interviews the myriad of personalities that make up the comic book medium. Those personalities include (though are certainly not limited to) established creators, like Erik Larsen of SAVAGE DRAGON renown, to up incoming, alternative talents like Jen the Mouse, to comic scholars like Dr. Comics himself, Jason Tondro, to passionate fans like myself with their wrongheaded notions to the intrinsic merits of Spider-Man’s Clone Saga! All voices, all perspectives are welcome as Eva shares w/ the listener her passion, her grace & her hardwork. Well worth a listen. Oh!, and I nearly forgot: Bring candy!
