With a background in Amateur Radio I have some experience with rechargeable batteries. Depending on the size of batteries that your devices use, rechargeable may be not as much help as you would think. I also talk about EarMilk and their requirement that everyone representing the publication wear earplugs to protect their hear. They have their folks using the Earbuds from Doppler Labs.
