The amount of time children spend in front of screens isn't always calculated by families, but it gets the attention of scientists and doctors.The scientists also measured children's cognitive development in areas such as language, memory and attention - then cross-referenced it with data on screen time. "Regardless of content, limiting a child's recreational screen time to less than two hours is positively associated with cognition," Jeremy Walsh, of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and one of the study's authors, told The State of S. Pauko
