We were very saddened to hear of the passing of the great Dr. Robert H. Heptinstall, or as many called him, “Heppy.” Dr. Heptinstall is considered a father of renal pathology, a mentor, a model, and a true icon in our field. His work has and will continue to guide generations of renal pathologists. Below is a clip of Dr. Silva discussing the important work of his dear friend Heppy in a past episode of Throwback Thursday.
