I am speaking to my long-term political betting strategy interlocutor and political historian Mathieu Giroux, about how his knowledge of history and the way he studies it informs his political betting, and the other way round. Mathieu is honest and up front about a recent loss on whether President Biden would be the Democratic Nominee for President and assesses--in the self-scrutinising way that is common to serious political gamblers--what he can take from that miscalculation going forward.
