Because of this podcast I heard Brianna Cardenas talk about her struggle with csf leaks which has completely changed my life and given me new hope. The second episode I heard (dr amber?) promoted naturopathic doctors. These are scam artist doctors. I’m sure there are a few who are ok but the entire institution promotes things like antivaxxers and leads CHILDREN WITH CANCER away from modern medicine to die. I’m so disappointed that they would endorse that for patients like Eds who are especially vulnerable because of the ways our healthcare system has failed them. But the answer is never naturopathy.

We live in Oklahoma. Our daughter just started blood patch therapy this year at Barrow in Phoenix. Each of the 4 previous blood patches were amazing, but unfortunately they last only 2-ish months. The third one included fibrin glue. She just had the fifth patch (no glue) and so far so good. I am concerned because eventually, I don’t think this will be an option. She has had two disk replacements and I’m afraid that will impede fixing the leak. Any positive comments are welcomed.

I’ve been waiting for a resource like this for a long time! This podcast is full of powerful information for patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, dysautonomia, mast cell activation disease, CSF leaks/Chiari, and many of the other conditions that go hand in hand with chronic pain and chronic illness.
