It feels like you’re sitting around the table with your dear friends taking part in their candid conversations, and that’s exactly what I needed during this year of quarantine & isolation. So grateful for these three gifts of priests for our Church! I feel like they have given us a glimpse of the life of a priest as they discuss everything from necessity of hobbies to boundaries to a healthy balance. I feel like a fly on the wall as they go from one topic to the next. It is fun to listen to them talk through their challenges and hear their everyday events. Love these priest and appreciate the glimpse we get into their real world as they grow in their priesthood and attend to the faithful and not so faithful! God Bless you three Holy Priest! Thankful that they share their lives with us. I like their insights into dealing with life’s struggles and always keeping Christ as the center. Well worth a listen to these three friends who seem to be very kind and giving . As a parent, I find hope listening to such wonderful young men. Their parents did a great job.

Listening to these young priests gives me such hope for our future in the church! Their love and insight into our faith and daily lives brings such depth and true meaning of our faith! I particularly love hearing quotes or what/how they learned what they did from their mentors and teachers at seminary...like Bishop Barron! I love all the book references and suggestions! And I especially like how we feel we are getting that unique experience of a early morning or late night “chat” where some of the most real and authentic “gems” are revealed about life. Thank you for continuing this podcast...probably long after you thought you would!

Long time listener, first time reviewer. I dig it what your doing. Really wonderful stuff. *iiif someone put a gun to my head and forced me to make one little suggestion for the cast: maybe you could consider rebranding as a traveling variety show? Again, great stuff. Just think about it.

I have found such joy in listening to this podcast! Being a young priest (ordained June 2018) is such a unique phase of life, and so it’s been a huge consolation to hear the experiences of these guys as they embrace the Christian life and their priesthood. But I do think this would appeal to anyone. In the closing words of each episode, “Thank you, Dogs!” (I think that’s what it says, anyway!)

I have never loved three strangers more in my life. Thats about all I can say... other than the fact that up until very recently I had thought that Connor’s nick name was Sea-Bisque rather than C-Bisc. So there’s that.

I love the knowledge of God that your podcast equips me with to get through this secular world and culture that I have to wade through to live my life. God Bless you priests

This is simply the best podcast for Catholics ages 15-40 (guestimate). Almost no structure, just three guys sitting down and letting their thoughts run wild until they hit on something important. Audio on the early episodes is a bit iffy but it gets better around episode 10. The guys are down-to-earth, relateable, and easy to understand. Plus, episodes are only 15-20 minutes, which is great for people like me with short attention spans. Give them a try and I promise it will make your day!

I just love these guys, I literally listen to this podcast all the time. I found this gem over a year ago. So I had a lot to catch up on, that’s why I’m finally writing a review I was too busy listening to all the episodes. And by the way this is not a Catholic podcast though the guys just happen to be priests.

Classy, theologically literate, wholesome, goofy, and utterly unfiltered.

I really enjoy this show, and wish I could read all the books theses guys mention. I certainly learn something from nearly every show and I really appriciate how openly all three of them share their honest thoughts on faith and life challenges. Keep up the great work!

I came upon this podcast after it was recommended on Word on Fire and have been listening to all the archived episodes over the past several weeks. The insights these seminarians and priest provide are truly inspirational. I have a son who is just beginning to discern a possible call to the priesthood and this podcast has been indispensable in providing me with a sense of the joy and challenges associated with attending seminary and becoming a priest. It has increased my sense of peace that if so called, our family will pour out our love and support. "Thank you dogs"

This is literally my mom's favorite podcast.

I've been enjoying these discussions that these three young men have with each other. It's a fascinating insight into the life of a seminarian, and even what it means to be a deeply faithful, deeply devoted Catholic in a secular and resistant world. I have a young niece and nephew and podcasts like this are so helpful to give them a sense that alternate choices are possible and bring their own multitude of blessings and joy.

When I originally heard about this podcast, I saw that it was labeled as Philosophy and gave it a hard pass. I’m so glad that, over a year later, I came back around and actually listened to it, because it quickly became one of my favorite podcasts. These guys have shared the faith with both lighthearted anecdotes and hard truths, made some great adds to my ever-growing reading list, and introduced me to The Oh Hellos. The down to earth and honest conversation about being Catholic is much appreciated.

This 50 something grandma is so thankful for your podcast. I love listening to you as I drive to work. I especially enjoy the inside baseball insights of the priesthood. Your conversations have taught me it is ok to ask questions and live life. Especially to live confidently as a Catholic! Also, I frequently look up the books you guys mention on the show and attempt to read them. The conversations are food for my soul.

I listen to this podcast regularly and have caught up on all of the archives. These young guys who are so enthusiastic and honest about their faith and their struggles give me hope for our beloved church. I tell everyone I know that this is the best podcast out thur right meow. Ever since I started listening (about a year ago) I've been reminded of Young Life or Bob Goff because you talk about normal life things and then relate it to God and that's just beautiful! Super well made also. Every time I try to listen to another podcast it annoys me because they all have like a dumb intro and they just act fake so ya. Appreciate the realzness. Peace!

These guys are honest and joyful. It's obvious they love the Lord, the church and life itself. They are not afraid to share their journey of faith/vocation and their stories/reflections are inspiring. They are young but have fatherly hearts for the flock. The church is blessed to have guys like these. It gives me hope for the future. Great sound too. Enjoy!

Podcast review of 3 dogs north It is truly a joy listening to Catholic seminarians and a priest as they delve into what it means to be human and how to maneuver through our imperfect nature by communing with God and the saints. These guys are simultaneously intelligent and endearing. They are fatherly, yet humble. At times their conversation is like listening to Atticus Finch talk to Scout in "To Kill A Mockingbird.” At other times it's like listening through the open door of a dorm room. Yet both scenarios are always tackled with the love of God. I'm binge-listening from the start, and never tire of the topics. Every episode is fresh, raw and honest in a beautiful, reverent and oftentimes humorous way. Their reverence stems in part from the humble nature of all three as they admit their own challenges. If you've grown to view priests as too holy to relate to, this podcast destroys that image and gives a representation of the Catholic fatherhood unlike anything imagined. It is truly a marriage of philosophy, fatherhood, love and devotion. Three Dogs North has been instrumental in my return to the Catholic faith.

We have come to the brink, machine, but you have flinched first. Man has triumphed, at least for this trip to the grocery store. 5 stars.

They must spend a lot of time researching there topics beforehand, and I'm sure that they have a huge team behind them to do research mid show. Must be a giant production. Even though I'm probably supporting a massive corporation(sponsored by tide bleach)it's still worth it.

Came upon this Podcast last Lent when I decided to give up music. I found a few Podcasts to listen to, and this podcast is one of the few that I've stuck listening to. I love that they sound like regular dudes, like a group of friends talking about their day to day experiences and where God is working in thier lives. I've found myself checking often to see when they upload a new podcast. Really pumped to now to listen to season 5.
