My Weekly Addiction
The hosts, and their occasional guests, deliver such an fun, informative and thought-provoking show each week. They cover the retro and vintage scene, but always have an eye on current stories that connect. Since I’m from the US, I find it refreshing how much I’ve learned about how the early days of computing were in the UK and other countries. I love waking up on Saturday morning to listen to them, cup of coffee in my hand.

Weekly Essential
Great knowledgeable retro podcast with three great personalities and perspectives. They have built up a nice community focused podcast and it definitely scratches that nostalgia itch. Good mix of guests and topics and definitely worth a listen. Try one and you will be hooked.

Part of my weekend ritual!
This week in retro has become part of my Saturday routine and is something I look forward to every weekend. The hosts past and present feel like good friends and ambassadors of the retro computing community. Huge kudos to the team for all your efforts and here’s hoping that TWIR continues far into the future.

Long time listener, first time reviewer
This is one of a handful of podcasts that I genuinely look forward to every week. Great hosts, awesome content, wonderful editing - cannot recommend highly enough if retro is your thing. This is also literally the first podcast review I have written :) Keep up the awesome work!

New host ruined the show for me
My apologies to Neil for leaving a negative review. I have been a constant listener since the inception of the show and stopped listening last week. I hugely admire Neil for all that he does and I’ve been a fan from his early Amiga video days. I will continue to view his content but this is it for this show unless the hosts change at some point. Boat and Neil gave this show a truly professional finish on top of the superbly informative content. I think that springs from their gentlemanly nature. When Chris came on board he had large shoes to fill but he struggled mightily. The new host seems to despise the Amiga community and is nitpick about anything negative he can say about the Amiga. I can take a joke, but this person seems to have misplaced anger issues and such bitterness. If he wants to extoll the virtues of his favorite hardware, perhaps he could start his own podcast, it doesn’t need to be at the cost of Amiga fans and the community we have built up. Thanks Neil, and I’ll see you in your next video.

My Favorite Retro Game News Show!
John and Neil do an excellent job every week sharing new headlines while also being fun and enjoyable commentators. The production value is superb, and I would expect no less from creators of their caliber. Thank you guys for 30 to 40 minutes of weekly content that I always look forward to, and here’s to many more episodes to come!
