The most well-known of those plots failed during this week in history - sometimes called Operation Valkyrie, the July 20th Plot involved an eye patch-wearing member of the German aristocracy and ranking member of the Wehrmacht, a briefcase full of bombs, and a last-minute change of venue that changed the course of history.
