Hello and welcome back! For the month of May, our theme is Mayhem: instances of chaos that have been written off as mass hysteria. But could there be something more to these occurrences? Today, we’re talking all about the infamous Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter. In August of 1955, a group of 5 adults and 7 kids were enjoying a peaceful night when suddenly, they were under attack. Relentlessly, they fought an onslaught of goblin-like metallic creatures well into the night. When news of this bizarre event hit the news, however, a new kind of invasion began. Hang on, friends. This one’s a doozy!
