Hello and welcome back! In today’s story, we talk all about Randall Lee Smith, otherwise known as “Lyin’ Randall.” Like his name suggests, Randall had a knack for telling wild and obviously untrue stories and spent many years being written off as odd, but mostly harmless. He had one true passion (other than lying): hiking the Appalachian Trail that ran behind his home. But in 1981, Randall committed a heinous crime. After serving his sentence, he was released on parole at the disgruntlement of the community. Was the neighborhood at large in the right for being skeptical? Hang on, friends. This one’s a doozy.
