I had the privilege of interviewing Reuben Kigame, a presidential aspirant in the 2022 general elections. He was however locked out by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). We spoke briefly about why he thinks the IEBC locked him out and how he still plans to continue being active in the politics and governance of the country. It was quite an intriguing though brief interview I had with him.

We talk about the role of the place of youth in government and how the youth can actively participate in the leadership of the nation. For a long time, the youth have been used by the politicians as tools to propagate violence but are always sidelined when it comes to important issues. We also talk about his 2022 political ambitions and why he thinks he's the best candidate for the people of Matinyani ward.

The creative and arts industry has a huge influence on our modern society. We definitely cannot ignore this rapidly growing industry boosted by the growth of the digital space It's a guarantee that they have a role to play in shaping society. Issues of governance, policy, and leadership definitely have an impact on how this industry runs and its survival. I have a seat down with Joseph Obel who is an experienced filmmaker, creative and digital creator and we discuss how the film and entertainment industry has an impact on society.  

With a hotly political season almost on the offing, it's right that we have a conversation about our political leaders and the role they play in inciting violence and uttering vulgar unprintable words. In this episode, we look at some of the remarks that some of the leaders have made. It is actually very unfortunate that they have been so many of them that if I was to sample all of them the whole episode would be filled with their soundbites.It's also important too note that we as citizens have a huge role to play in ensuring we can hold our leaders to account and not cheer them on as they utter words that would bring this country to its knees. We have been there and boy we wish not to go on that slippery slope again.
