Great host and reporter telling an interesting story. But the dance techno music was too loud in the background. It was very distracting. I wish the music was used a lot less and in a quieter way.

First, Alyssa’s production, hosting, voice, and quality is top notch. I loved her on “Boom Bust” and enjoyed every word she spoke here. However, I just could not get into the podcast. I listened to all of the episodes, and by the last two, it was just finishing it out of obligation. The subject just did not grasp me, and I had a hard time feeling bad for anybody in this entire show (outside of those who were truly victimized by assault or otherwise). I was hoping to have a series about those people who social media overwhelmed them, but instead we get an entitled cast of characters living in a content house that do not live anywhere close the universe I occupy. Looking forward to whatever Alyssa does next, and will listen, and hope it’s like “Boom Bust” and not this.

Alyssa Bereznak is an excellent host and reporter. Between this and Boom/Bust, she emerges as one of the most interesting and unique voices at the Ringer. I hope she gets more opportunities to create.
