Great find!
I just discovered this podcast while listening to early episodes of Dark Histories. Very well done!
Mysteries & True Crime!
My Favorite Podcast!
True crime stories movingly told by author Daniel Mills. Lives that would otherwise be lost to history have been resurrected and walk like ghosts that will haunt you. Slowly, carefully, and vividly are their stories told. Hopefully this podcast will continue for many seasons because I desperately need more of this.

Incredibly well-told, and well researched stories from right next door. I get so excited when a new episode is released!

Great stories
But sometimes the speaker’s voice distracts the listener from the story. At times, he’ll drop his volume to just above a whisper- good for people with AMSR, not for the rest of us.

LOVE this!
The sound quality could be better, but the host makes you feel very much alone and in the dark with the story. People were so isolated back when these things happened, and you can really feel that.

Entrancing
This is an eerie and somewhat spooky podcast but very interesting and speaks to the (until very recent times) isolation that so many Vermonters must’ve experienced in the states first 120 years. This isolation must have made the victims feel so alone and helpless as this podcast illustrates. I enjoyed the narration and background music. Well done.

Dark Mountains Indeed
Daniel Mills' understated, almost austere story-telling style but makes a historical crime account so compelling that I couldn't stand to put it on pause for even a minute. You can tell he loves his subject matter and the Vermont milieu.
