I could listen for hours to DLR. You’ve got to include this man on the Mount Rushmore of great orators. There are no um’s, his freestyle comes out like spun sugar.

DLR is hysterical. I've been a VH fan since the inception. This podcast of stories and banter is the best DLR ever. The episodes are so entertaining I listen to some 2-3 times and still laugh out loud.

If unfamiliar with DLR, you'll probably like him after hearing his podcast. To despise him, keep listening; after the 5th+ retelling of the same joke, followed by his grating forced laughter (your cue that mirth prevails), repeated until you can't sit by and chuckle anymore, you'll crack. Because he has exposed in the subsurface his ultimate self, which is a pathologically narcissistic stream-of-blather attention-addict vaudeville clown/liar who erases whatever joy you got from his truly superior music. I want to hear none of it now, and I want to hear less than none of his moronic leftist/zionist politics dressed as Common Man Sensibility, another facade. And pot, tattoos, tattoos, pot, 'Roth Show!', repeat, until you delete it from your system, feeling more sympathy for Alex and Ed than you ever thought possible.

The greatest frontman of the greatest rock band of all time. Hear the stories first-hand. Very entertaining. Great show.

Just listened to episode 10 about Dave driving and trying to come up with a name for the band….next day on youtube on NASS channel I’m wathing “California 1950s Driving Wilshire Blvd in Color” when suddenly there it is!!! Pick a topic and go where it leads nobody knows. This is DLR sitting a microphone and talking about whatever is on his mind that day. No plugs for True-Car no cheesey plugging their Kindle book just philosophy (Dave's take) all based on experience - accidental and purposeful. If you want VH topics you'll be disappointed but if you want a unique take on the world you'll love it.

David Lee Roth is a breath of fresh air. He is extremely personable and an outstanding storyteller. I loved him as the frontman for Van Halen in the 80s. He showed unique energy and personality. Now he recounts compelling stories from the past. A regular guy with a fascinating past. Highly recommend.

Love Dave and all of his stories. His charisma keeps your interest and the stories come to life! Need more Dave these days!

I love this podcast. At least three times per show Dave takes me back to my youth and I have a real emotional connection to a memory connected to a Van Halen moment. I love it. Truly love it. Dave, if you read this kind sir. Where can we listen to all the music you mix in during the show.? I know some is on Spotify and YouTube. But I can’t seem to find it all. Love that it’s always somewhere between a vaudeville routine and free form jazz tone poem. Interesting tales from a guy who has done it all. Rock star? Paramedic? Mountain Climber? Martial Artist? Calligrapher? Check.

Diamond Dave has a way of telling a story that just gets the hooks in you. The fact that they’re usually stories about the early Van Halen days makes it even better. Add to it the fact that he’s led a life that many of us only dream about and you have a show that is a must listen. My only gripe is the episodes are kind of short and there aren’t a lot of them. But everything so far has been terrific!

Each episode dumps some hair raising stories.

DLR can sure tell a story and I love stories about Rock & Roll. I love his point of view on life/living. We all know his background but he really comes across as just a regular guy; with just a little diamond dust. Thank you for doing this. I don’t recommend this show if you are looking for straight lines. His stories appear like stream of consciousness word mosaics often landing of relatable human truisms picked up on the insane road of a Rock and Roll Tom Cat. Three this guy I’ve learned about Dave listening to this show. 1. He seems to squeeze every drop out of his human experience. 2. He is an incorrigible Pro. 3. He is very sobi sobi.

Yeah that’s right you heard me, it’s the best most rockingly informational show I’ve ever heard! Diamond Dave we need more!

Been a Van Halen fan since I was 10. I always thought it was a huge mistake when Roth quit Van Halen after the 1984 tour. But after listening to this podcast for the last month I realize that it was all part of “the ride” for Dave. His stories are intertwined with history and are wildly interesting and entertaining. Hats off to Dave for creating one of the best podcasts out there.

Wickedly funny, intensely introspective and storytelling like no other, David Lee Roth continues to impress beyond the stage of music. I understand he’s in Vegas, but I hope we get a new show soon? It would be a shame if this was the last of this incarnation of the Roth Show. Here’s to hoping!

Smart and humorous. Didn’t realize DLR was so incredibly intelligent. Each episode is like a piece of fine tuned and highly entertaining literature with a cool twist. Love it!

Every word out of DLR’s mouth is entertaining, but there’s so much idiotic background noise (trying to be Howard Stern/Fred Norris, apparently) it’s almost unbearable. Less noise, Dave

Seriously, who actually listen to this on a regular basis??? Roth's scatter shot babbling might of been funny to listen to back in early 80's. But everyone eventually grows up , apparently not Dave pure dumb and annoying.

I was recently going back through i Tunes and purchasing some rock and roll from te late 70's abn early 80's, of course, I purchased Women and Children First and Fair Wartning as pivotal moments in rock history. What should I find, but the The Roth Show!?!? Madness!! I would think David Lee would have sorted out his organic mood stabilizers to cope with his ADHD--abolsute fun with non-lienar thread of genius!!! The format of the show could use some work, like having him respond to reader e-mails, voice mails, etc. I grew up with his theatrics and manic stage show. I hope this podcast gets some format, or I fear it will not last, but enjoy the ride while it lasts!
