In 1993 Texas was feeling the heat of gang violence. During elections the new DA's platform is one of tough reform and persecution of gang related crimes. Two teenagers get killed shortly after election, and the DA makes good on his promise. "The Punisher" a seasoned detective is eager to solve the case using illegal methods to illicit false confessions from numerous teenagers. Deciding Daniel Viegas fit the narrative, the punisher beats a confession from him. The state uses statements only from fellow intimidated teens and zero evidence managing to come out victorious. It isn't until 2018 that Daniels story is righted.

Derrick Todd Lee was one of three active serial killers all prowling the Baton Rouge area of Louisiana around the same time. Derricks below average intelligence didn't hinder his ability to stalk and attach women. Killing from women from 1992- 2003. Before a few Detectives made their case that Derrick Todd Lee should be a prime suspect. Time and time again the detectives were ignored or written off, each time allowing Derrick to increase his number of victims until one Detective had enough. In 1979 the Ranzo's answered a knock at the door. Four teenagers tell them they are out of gas and could use some help. Being good people, they allow the teenagers inside. Instead of thanks they are brutally assaulted and killed. The house is ransacked looking for money before the quartet take off. Rand Kraft was an average looking man who had a stunning secret. He had killed more than 40 people throughout the 1970-80's. All while maintaining the normalcies of society. Randy was active in California until he began contracting worth LSI which allowed him to travel to Oregon and Michigan as well, racking up bodies wherever he traveled. Finally on the night of May 14th, 1983 he was pulled over for suspected drunk driving. As the officer approached, the body of a deceased male was clearly visible in the car. This led to a search of his car exposing an upwards of 50 polariod photographs of other men in suggestive positioning, many of them were thought to also be deceased at the time of the photographs. Ivan Cantu was convicted of Capital Murder in Texas in 2000. After serving over 20 years on death row, his execution date looms.
