Here is a bit about our special guest this week Dr. Jo Shaw in her own words.
I grew up in the 80's and 90's. I fell in love with video games starting on a green screened Commodore 64 and 5 inch floppy disks. From there, I continued the path from Atari, Sega, Nintendo, XBox, and Playstation. My favorite games involve cooperative play, RPG, JRPG, and MMO. I fell in love with anime in the early 2000's after my first exposure on late night Cartoon Network. I began to study Japanese language and culture. I enjoy attending anime conventions and attempting to make my own cosplay. I grew up with films; Star Wars, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, E.T., Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Jurassic Park, and Mad Max just to name a few. I enjoy playing table top RPG such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and Vampire the Masquerade. I also enjoy playing Magic the Gathering. I enjoy watching current day content from Marvel and DC. I am avid fan of the CW shows. Ironman and Groot are my favorites from MCU. I want to be a member of the League of Shadows from DC. I attended Comic Con in San Diego in 2012.
I completed my Ph.D. in 2015. I have been working in mental health since 2002. I am passionate about helping others overcome challenges and working through their own hero's journey.

Abraham (Abe) Klein has been doing therapy professionally since he began his clinical internship in 2015. It was during that internship that he began to realize he can use his love of anime, video games, manga, tabletop roleplaying games, comics, and other geeky media as an aid to his work with clients. Over the years he has gained experience & skill with this, and feels great joy any time he finds himself with a new geeky client with whom he can utilize this skill set. He specializes in working with adolescents, teens, and young adults, as well as treating anxiety, general life issues, and finding meaning in existence. He holds competency in working with depression, bipolar, dealing with trauma, mindfulness, and is LGBTQIA+ and poly affirming in his work.
