Gus T. returns to western New York state to begin coverage of the federal death penalty trial of convicted Race Solider Payton Gendron. After being convicted and sentenced to life in prison plus 90 years in NY state court in 2023, Gendron now faces the possibility of the death penalty. If Gus receives the financial backing, he plans to remain in Buffalo for the duration of the trial - which is estimated to run through the end of February 2027. Judge Lawrence Vilardo said from the beginning that although this trial involves a deliberate Racist attack, this trial is not to be a "referendum on race." Gus is not sure what that is or what that would look like in this case. We address the racial demographics of the potential jurors and Gendron's defense team incorporating black attorneys and investigators so that is projects a "multiracial front" to defend a repentant Racist.#TOPS2022 #TheCOWS17Years #LetsGoBuffalo #NewYorkState #BIFF20 #InvestInTheCOWS #CapitalPunishmentCall-In Number: 720.716.7300 Code: 564943#💻 No phone?
