Hey there! I open up this episode with a tea talk (grape-açai tea in a book store mug) and a life update about therapy, lockdown, school, and birthdays. I introduce this week’s topic through a story, questions, and the structure for the episode. Next, I navigate the different phases of my life concerning self care. Afterward, I explain why I disagree with how self care is portrayed in the media: the pressure, the “right way”, and the unrealistic expectations. Then, I look at the future and brainstorm how I would like to realistically take care of myself. I wrap up with a few takeaways, share my favourites in apps, books, and home decor, and read a touching review from Klaudia before signing off.
