Gave this pod a chance a few times but it’s the same as most others. Complain about everything wwe. Every episode I’ve listened to from the main guy I hear a 10mins of Roman Reigns complaining. If you like AEW and hate WWE this is for you. But to be fair it’s just one guy, I’ve randomly listen to a smackdown episode and that guy was cool.

Love the show! But 15 out of the first 30 minutes is ads is crazy. Anyways love the actual content

Matt does a good job with as much as he has on his plate each week. I wish the shows did their homework more and not just assume or make stuff up. The only tough show to listen to besides having to mute the DJ guy when he comes on is the smack down show. They need to go back and listen to their show before they post it. They say “definitely” and “I guess you could say” way too much that it becomes tough to focus on the content. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Always has new shows with good content. Love the Mailbag and the show reviews. Well done show with a knowledgeable and well spoken Main host. The substitute hosts aren’t as good. Regularly has new content and current on all aspects of wraslin. Worth a listen if you’re into wraslin.

I like the podcast 98% of the time. But guys seriously get over the belt confusion. They aren’t really competing for these belts, you are getting way into the weeds on this and the brand draft integrity. We fully hear and understand your opinions, move on. Lastly, on what planet in Gunter not a heel?! His preening to the audience his arrogance clearly a heel. Keep up the good work.

So happy that I found this podcast. I love how it moves along nicely, and there is a purpose to each episodes layout. I’ve been a lifelong fan of watching WWE since I went to wrestlemania three! I made it 15 mins into one episode before bailing. Maybe it was an off day but they seemed to have done no research. “The match was 12 minutes…no wait it was 6 minutes…I’m not sure…” “Butch pinned Vinci, I think…was it Vinci?…yes it was.” “Lacey Evans fought Becky Lynch. I think it was Becky. Don’t quote me on that.” Just surprised to hear so little facts and so much guessing.

Good for finding out what happens each week. Seems like they may be Vince's cousins or wwe employees because everything is why wwe is right. Seems like company lines. On top of that, trying to push no talent boring Gunther as a star definitely seems like a push for someone several lacking.

Matt is great but some of the cohosts are just awful and offer nothing when it comes to describing a wrestling show. The one cohost of the smack down review literally repeated the phrase “I guess you could say” 41 times in a single episode.

I want to commend the host for his approach and work on this podcast. I started listening in the past month and my fear going in was that it would be a WWE propaganda machine spouting whatever the company instructed it. But you’ve analyzed the matches, programs, overall programming strategy, etc. with authentic objectivity. I actually agreed with you that this Oct 17 Raw episode was below average and was happy to hear you challenge the quality of that episode. As long as you keep it real, call it like you see it, and provide your unbiased opinion on the programming you’ll have a listener in me. p.s. The host complains so much it’s kind of comical. Definitely annoying after a while as his routine rant drags on for minutes every time.I’m like sheesh, this guy is still complaining , lol. His reviews of matches are mostly him reading cbs sports review. However, the host can be entertaining at times. I skip the Thursday smack down review guy every week. He’s boring.

The dude who hosts Smackdown is literally awful and a weirdo. I can barely hear him on full volume at least get him a mic. Literally every other sentence he says the phrase ‘I guess you can say’ and once you realize that it’s unlistenable. And they way he talks about women wrestlers is extremely creepy and makes my physically cringe. I like the Raw episode but jeez find someone else it’s a bad look.

The host is well informed and knowledgeable. But he is also pretty unlikeable. He does more complaining than anything, and his overall tone and attitude comes across as upset and irritated. Good podcast, but definitely could be better.

UGH I really wanted to like this podcast!!!! They release a lot of episodes but the ads make up about 75% of the shows - they sometimes just run twice in a row which makes you feel like you’re listening to Sirius radio. I understand promoting your paid service (which is really cheap) but i don’t like to immediately pay for a service if I’m not sure that I like it first. Will probably listen occasionally around the big stuff but such a shame because the main host is really good!

Just another negative wrestling podcast. After a great summer slam I gave it a shot and same old same old. I guess this is what’s popular. Not for me. I like to listen to podcast that seem like the enjoy wrestling like I do. If I hated it as much as these podcast do I just wouldn’t watch.

This podcast is shameful. Constant hate on one of the only successful black women in the history of this company, Bianca Belair. They also know nothing about wrestling, I want to know who qualified these guys to talk about wrestling and share their horrible racially motivated opinions. 0 stars

After listening to this podcast for over a month and a half now, I’ve formed an opinion on this show. Are there a lot of ads? Yes. Do I hear the exact same ads 3-4 times a single episode? Yes. But I understand the hustle. What irritates me, and this may just be my opinion, is that a lot of this host’s takes on the product seem very dated and like he is holding on to the past instead of embracing some newer ideas going on within the show. He seems to see things as only black and white. And to me, that’s boring. The more varied and grey things are makes for more interesting angles, wrestling, and at the end of the day, entertainment. I agree with most of his takes on certain storylines, but when it comes to the “Entertainment” part of WWE’s name, he seems a bit clueless and comes across like an old man saying “back in my day”, but he’s only 30. For me at least, there are a lot of takes on this podcast that come across as questionable or leave me wondering, “did you completely miss the point?”. I respect him for forming this podcast and I agree with SOME of his takes. But overall he comes across as someone who refuses or is unable to look at WWE as entertainment as well as wrestling. The two go hand in hand. Especially when the product tries to adhere to audiences of all ages and not just the 30-40 year olds dwelling on the past (attitude era). WWE isn’t the same as it was back in the 90’s and even the 2000’s. And it probably won’t be moving forward. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. P.S. this dude seriously needs someone else on the show who disagrees with him on a lot of things. Because he says and spews a lot of bull crap without any rebuttal or someone to counter him. There are moments where I say out loud, “wow did he really just say that?” Or “did he not see this…” and no one is there to call him out on it

The host is the biggest crybaby. He has 10 negative things to say for every positive thing. It’s insufferable.

Host is oblivious to things that happen and provides inaccurate reviews that are very opinionated. The show has gotten worse and worse and I don’t understand why people have voicemails played for everyone to hear and their email addresses shared with everyone in some cases. Host seems very smug but also doesn’t sound competent.

I’d rather listen to Enya than this. And I absolutely detest Enya.

I really struggle to get through these episodes. Speaker is extremely negative. Basically complains the entire time and analyzes everything to death. Over thinks it. Very focused on heel vs face and can’t see the gray areas and then complains about it.

I love the content but when I hear the same add play 4 times in a row 2 different times in every episode, it gets beyond annoying. Hopefully someone doing this podcast will see this as I really hope this has been an accident.

This is by far the best WWE podcast available. Honestly, they understand the content.

Looking to get back into wrestling so I figured I would listen to something to catch me up but unfortunately I came across this one first... Know it all condescending host... lots of coded wording... hard pass

I really like this podcast, specifically the nostalgia episodes. The problem is it can take up to a half hour for them to actually start talking about the topic on hand. Save the weekly happenings for the smackdown and raw episodes. I shouldn’t have to hear about Bianca belair for the first half hour on a podcast that is supposed to be about John cena vs. carlito. This weekly series of podcasts already has outlets for the weekly wwe shows. I don’t want to waste time and fumble with fast forwarding thru a majority of a podcast that is supposed to specifically talk about the deep past of wrestling storylines. It doesn’t make sense to talk about raw and smackdown on a podcast that is designated for nostalgia storylines when the people that run the podcast already have podcasts that are based specifically on the current weeks raw and smackdown. I love the nostalgia part, so much. But why does it have to be buried in the back half of a podcast that it’s supposed to be the focal point of?

I was a listener for a while and left because I always felt like the shows spend more time talking, selling ads, explaining themselves or just simply drawing out a topic. So I decided to give it a listen again today and sure enough 14 minutes and 49 seconds in before the Royal Rumble was even discussed. It’s tough for me to get through an episode when 30-40% is jabber. Highly recommend cutting it down. Especially without the amount of shows y’all offer weekly.

The editing needs some work. I’m listening to 2 voices at the same time. The background voice is talking about Sasha banks & the louder voice is talking about the women’s Royal rumble. Also, When it cuts to commercial BOOM!!!! I’m slapped in the face with a loud ad. Smackdown review guy talks low, boring, I can’t listen to it. Would love for BOTCH guy to do Smackdown. Listeners feed of the hosts energy.
