Bonus Episode: This episode is part of a conversation I had with fellow Broadway Podcast Network host Adam Rothenberg. Adam is the host of Baring it All With Call Me Adam which is a different kind of interview as he asks the heartfelt and fun questions most other podcasts don't. Adam also hates CATS. I hopped in the hot seat with Adam and then asked him his thoughts on Grizabella and the Heaviside Layer. Here is a snapshot of our conversation. You can hear the full episode on Adam's podcast at BPN.fm/CallMeAdamCheck out Adam on Instagram & Twitter: @callmeadamnyc Music by: Anthony NormanProduced by: Alan Seales & Broadway Podcast NetworkInstagram & Twitter: @TheWrongCatDied Learn more about your ad choices. Ep20 - Peter, because we had to

Grizabella was the wrong cat to die. After seeing CATS the Musical for the first time in July of 2016, podcast host Mike Abrams was filled with a whirlwind of emotions. He was amused, confused, and a little angry. Almost exactly three years later when the 2019 CATS movie trailer came out, Mike had enough. It was time to speak his truth – Grizabella was the wrong Cat to Die at the Jellicle Ball. In this podcast, Mike interviews CATS cast members, CATS superfans, CATS haters, and explores the backstories of the Jellicle characters all to make a case for why they were more worthy to ascend to the Heaviside Layer than Grizabella.Part of the Broadway Podcast Network.
