Melissa is the creator of the animated television series, ”Braceface,” which ran for 5 seasons and starred the voices of Alicia Silverstone and Michael Cera. She’s also the author of three novels, two scripted kid’s podcasts (Becoming Mother Nature and Grandma For President), and has written on multiple kid’s TV shows. Melissa taught at an art college in Los Angeles for 11 years, and has taught writing workshops at book festivals and conferences around the country.
