You found The Worship Hangover. We are all about telling the stories of people who live and breath ministry no matter the size of their congregation.
Today we talk with Ken Idleman. Through his ministry, Ken has impacted Zach and Dallas both in separate but critical ways. Ken spent over 3 decades working as a Professor then President at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO.
After retiring from that role, he went on to Serve as the Senior Pastor at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, IN for several years.
After retiring a second time, Ken now works as a Church and Leader Liaison with The Solomon Foundation, a parachurch financial organization that helps fund church expansion.
As you can tell, there’s some serious wisdom happening here. Let’s dig in.

I’ve got to tell you upfront, I’m really excited about this one.
Today we talk with Jim Powell. I first met Jim as a result of his excellent book on Church vision development and implementation entitled Dirt Matters. I have also experienced Jim’s ministry as he has consulted for a church planting organization I am a part of, and he has helped mentor me through some transitions with the congregation I serve. Beyond being a leadership and mentoring guru, Jim has seen much success in his Lead Minister role at Richwoods Christian Church in Peoria, IL. A ministry post that he is currently wrapping up in a very non-traditional way.
