Lucky to have found this podcast during my extra time at home. Not only is it a blast to listen to Ellen and her guest, but you might learn something too! In a time of social distancing, listening to this show feels like getting together with a friend for a glass of wine (kind of)...

Best of all, Elle’s a Certified Somm who obviously knows her wine (and her whines). Funny, informative and entertaining. Bella Lugosi is dead, but The Wine Situation lives on.

Shaughn and Ellen are very generous hosts — I overused a French word <<dentelle>> and we riffed heavily into the night / special cru beauj, so fun!!!

First I must say Ellen and Shaugn have such great chemistry and really do have fun with each other and the guests. I love the whole premise of matching a wine to a whine! The dialog can go anywhere so you never know what to expect, which keeps it fresh and you learn a whole lot about wines, regions, grapes, varietals, etc. at the same time. I've even gone and tried new wines because of the podcasts! Highly recommend this. They are super nice people too, I wish I lived closer and could come on and bring a whine!

I found this channel by coincidence and I ended up binge listening the channel. I learned about wine and killer whales...so random, funny, and insightful. They make learning about wine funny and Ellen's voice is so relaxing!

Maybe this is great if you don't care about wine. They sound like fun to hang out and drink with but have a lot to learn when it comes to making a great podcast. Definitely a pass.

Love the podcast. The co-hosts are funny together and I think have different strenghts that compliment each other. Really like the guests they have on. Can't wait to hear more and learn about wine!
