Tonight I am honored to bring you Robin Ladue, whose book "Totems of September" I recently enjoyed thoroughly. Painting with threads of different families lives, she uses the loom of 9/11 to intertwine and tell a broader story of survival, loss and redemption. Dr. Robin Ladue is a retired clinical psychologist formerly in private practice in Washington. She received her Master's and Doctorate degrees from Washington State University. She has been affiliated with the University of Missouri, Kansas City and with the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Native American Center of Excellence. She is the award winning author of the "Journey Through the Healing Circle" books and video. Dr. LaDue has lectured worldwide on the effects of prenatal exposure and historical trauma in Native American communities as well as the consequences of and treatment for psychological trauma, including traditional Native methods of treatment. She has recently published her first historical novel, Totems of September. She is an enrolled member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe of Washington. We will be discussing her book, the struggle for justice for Native Americans and her ground breaking work in the field of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome children.

Israel as a State committed to full genocide on Palestinians and the theft of all their land. What if any other nation was acting the way Israel has been acting - would the world stand mute and allow it?

STEALING NATIVE AMERICAN CHILDREN What we rarely do, is pay the remotest attention to what is STILL happening in the daily lives of the First Nations peoples.   Do we look at the abject poverty that has been inflicted on the most at-risk group in our greater society?  Are we remotely aware that this poverty is being used as an excuse to steal yet another generation of children? From Boarding Schools, to Adoptions, the cultural genocide is happening right now; fed by a seemingly endless flow of Federal monies that rewards the States for taking Indian children from their families.   Tonight, I am joined by three amazing women who will tell their tales.   Evelyn Red Lodge is an author and journalist who advocates for the ICWA.  Her story is chronicled in "Two Worlds: Lost Children of the Indian Adoption Projects." Janice Howe fought (and finally won) for the return of her 4 stolen grandchildren s chronicled on NPR. Molly KillsEnemy is a dear friend who was both adopted away herself as a young girl, and had a son taken from her outside the ICWA when she was young.  She now lives with her two sons and one daughter, with another daughter who has married. Please listen to my honored guests speak of their experiences and stand strong against the vile Christian Alliance for Indian Child Welfare & Lisa Morris who are trying to end the Indian Child Welfare Act - an act that needs to be strengthened, not revoked.

T he Mounties are looking for a "compromise or peaceful resolution" down the end of automatic weapons in Canada - which equals "We are gonna force this down your throat," because energy vampires losing is unthinkable, and the people winning is doubly so.

The war is on again, full tilt boogie with Obamacare Medicare and food stamp cuts while the drumbeats whimpers for war. The Earth is turning against us in our greed, while we test more nukes. You seriously could not make this shite up. Join tonight, call in, rant along!
