Pastor Scott and Pastor Becky talk about depression.
We are only human! And knowing our limitations, because he designed us, God gave our bodies the natural inclination to give us the red flag to slow down, be kind to ourselves, and address the periodic increased stress and strains we can experience.

Life throws plenty at us. Somethings roll right off of us and somethings punch us square in the gut. And those somethings are different for everyone. Traumas like that can have deep and long-lasting effects on our psyche. Many of us will chose a reaction to the trauma and then treat every trauma that feels like that the same way. And if we dealt with that trauma while we weren't completely mature or had a broad life context, we may treat every trauma like we did when we were six or sixteen or twenty-eight. That's called "arrested in development."
