Welcome back, to the ramblings of a very tired host. I had a pretty sleepless night. I spent this week still recovering from the Missouri trip and jumping right into work. Editing a video, jotting down notes in my New hiking field notebook, trying to book a backcountry campsite but it's closed... So I starting watching adventure documentaries, which got me thinking about today's thought, "Restless Souls", at least that's what the world calls them. People unable to sit still because they are driven by a desire to grow, learn, explore, build, create, invent, travel, dig up ruins, examine plants and animals. And others are not. What drives these people is what gave us new medicines, insight into life in the oceans and so much more... I sat and questioned what drives me to the outdoors and found that, I am one those people. Perhaps you are to. Go get some tea and join me as I tried to stay awake and talk to you.

Welcome back! This week's episode is a few days later than I expected, apparently I needed more time to recover from my trip west and I also had to return to work quickly. So, here we are and here's the ramblings of a weary traveler... Last weekend I drove for 12 hours on an hour and a half of sleep, to Branson, Missouri. I was up watching the show "The Madison" with my daughter the night before and couldn't get to sleep. I arrived in Branson in a full zombie state. Then got up early the next morning to go hiking in the Ozark Mountains. I recorded this the day after the first hike. This trip was planned for October 2025 originally, and with slightly different plans as you'll here. What prompted this was a conversation before I left and one on my second hike. Yes, I was tired when I pressed "Record" Go grab a snack, a cup of tea and join me; as I tell you why I am I Solo traveler.

Welcome back. Today's thought is accompanied by a cup of Egyptian Hibiscus tea and prompted by a conversation with a 90 year old Marine Vet, as I had the honor of safely delivering him to his destination. As a cab driver I get to talk with people from all walks of life. And if I had my wits about me, I would have written down many of the stories I've heard over the past two and a half years. ..Many struggle with their Faith in God throughout their lives. I speak from a Christian faith perspective. There's a segment of Christians, those of us who are older who are going through this and I came face to face with my own wrestling when the question of do you think "..God can forgive me?" came up while driving the Veteran. A Marine Machine Gunner. A man like many of us, haunted by our sins...

Over the past few weeks there have been a lot of infighting amongst those in the conservative movement. "America First" wasn't just a Party platform, It was an idea a coalition of Conservatives from different backgrounds to come together and focus on that idea. With the new war in Iran, lines were drawn with some Conservatives not agreeing with the president's move to go to war with Iran. and those dissenting voices have come under attack from people like Ben Shapiro, who truly wishes to claim that he's the leader of the conservative movement. Six months after Charlie Kirk's murder, that conservative coalition for which he was the glue that held it all together, has fallen apart. And that deeply concerns many people, including myself. So here are my thoughts on the issue.

A Rant. Well, not my usual rant I used to do on "The Crazy Train" episodes. No, this is, I should be asleep rant lol. Folks, the media has been going bonkers over this upcoming presidential election. And the wars... Ben Shapiro vs Candace Owens... and the celebrities and their emotion filled endorsements. So, since I was laying here looking at "shorts" I decided to on the mic. Buckle up, get comfy and let's talk.

Welcome back to the show. Have you seen those videos of people who parked their cars and suddenly they start rolling downhill? The ones that leave you in tears and your stomach hurting from laughing. Well... it's not so funny in real life. That's right, it happened to me this week. Thanks to God, I'm able to sit here and tell you about it...
In today's show, I'll share the many times I've had close calls, including this week. What makes this time different? I have something to live for, and had it not been for quick thinking I would not have made it home. Are you ready to hear about it? Well, get comfortable and let's talk. And feel free to leave a comment.

Hi! Welcome back to the show. I'm T. Anthony Bland also known as Whitebeard and yes, I am flying solo again which is actually a good thing. This weeks thoughts came out of necessity. I had been driving everyday without a break. Anyone who drives for a living or takes long road trips or adventure travels, understands how draining the road can be. Fatigue becomes very familiar and the lack of routine becomes a thing of the past. Without proper sleep and the absence of my daily exercise, I started to crash. So I planned a weekend getaway to simply rest... yeah, it didn't go as planned.
I planned the weekend because I recognized the signs. Our current culture pushes us all to work more, longer hours, everyday, multitask, fill empty space and time with something. It calls us to drown the silence with noise and activities. Then we wonder why we're constantly "on edge". This cycle causes health, married and even financial issues. There was study conducted and the results were... people would rather have electric over sitting quietly with their own thoughts. There is a reason why God rested from his work, called for and ordained a "day of rest" for our frail human minds and bodies. And that, dear listener, is the focus of today's thought. Get comfortable and let's talk.

Welcome back. This week's thoughts focus on our collective mental and emotional state. And perhaps a call for us all to shift our gaze. This past week, I heard some troubling news about men committing suicide. As well as a popular offgrid homesteader, who was attacked in her comment section because she chose to focus on her family and life here, instead of the war in the Middle East. She was responding to the many comments of people telling her she needed to be an activist. Her response drew ugly rebuttals. I completely understand her point and it caused these thoughts, "Is all this information good for us and our family?'... After you've listened, tell me what you think about all the chatter in the world. Tell how you deal with it all and how you have been feeling emotionally. So, are you ready? Come on, let's talk about it.
