-A recent poll shows Americans are pessimistic about the standards of living in the future. Americans think it is unlikely young people today will have a better standard of living than their parents. People polled said that raising a family and owning a home are important to them, but more than half said these goals are harder to achieve compared to past generations. 
-Eddie Murphy has agreed to pay ex-girlfriend Mel B an additional $10,000 a month in child support for their 15-year-old daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown.  
The actor will now be on the hook for $35,000 a month. The former Spice Girl filed paperwork two years ago asking for more support, citing a decrease in income. 
-Stockton, California, police are warning its residents of a “potential serial killer” who is “on a mission.” According to police, 42 is the average victim’s age. McFadden claims that “the races are mostly Hispanic,” and most victims have been men.
