We are a tactical enhancement program for women in the U.S. Military. The Valkyrie Project believes women have a seat at the table in defending America, and supports the female warrior athlete through an unprecedented network of community, tactical physical training, and an educational forum. VP enables the woman who will do today what others won’t, so she may do tomorrow what others can’t.

She is a prior Team USA skeleton competitor, an orthopedic sports medicine nurse practitioner, recipient of the Tillman Scholarship award, CrossFit coach, mom, wife, and general badass. Episode 15, Megan Henry (2020)
In this episode, we sit down with Megan Henry. Megan is a First Lieutenant in the Army, an MI officer (35D), and was prior enlisted as a 35F. She played Division One Field Hockey and ran track at American University, and enlisted following her graduation. Last year, she was ranked overall #1 in the United States for Skeleton, a one-man, high speed sled style Winter Olympics event. She is also a member of the Army's World Class Athlete Program. In this episode, we talk with Dr. Stacy Sims PhD, a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She was an exercise physiologist and nutrition scientist at Stanford University from 2007 to 2012, where she specialized in sex differences of environmental and nutritional considerations for recovery and performance, specializing also in women's health and performance.
