So I thought the podcast about 80s toys was going to be about well... 80s toys. Instead its the hosts versions of a Motu / Thundercats movie AND then they go WAAAAAY off track and start discussing netflix and daredevil and marvel and todays superhero movies and their staying power!?!?! Did I just jump podcasts?!? Seriously, its very annoying and a complete waste of time! Is it so hard to stay focused and on track otherwise why bother? I like you guys but Im really confused here 🤔

Every comic fan has played the game: How would you make X into a movie? Heck, Wizard Magazine used to have an entire feature based aorund that premise. I've been playing that game for over twenty years and, trust me, Vito and Scott do it better. (Okay, sometimes they do it the same...but, usually it's better.) And, unlike a lot of folks who seem more interested in shock value or being different for the sake of being different, Scott and Vito never stray from the core of the characters/properties they discuss. I look forward to each new show.

This is not your normal, average comic book podcast. This is incredibly better. Scott and Vito use their knowledge of comics and come up with new scenarios and thoughts on movies, graphic novels, and believe it or not an occasional musical. I love their take on comics because it makes you think outside of the box. These two writers regularly produce their own stories and ideas that make you dream up your own. If you enjoy comic books, comic book movies, and creative thinking, you will enjoy this show.

This is perhaps, all hyperbole aside, THE VERY REASON PODCASTS WERE INVENTED!! Thank-you, Stephen K Podcast, for creating a medium in which I can carry with me, and listen to at my leisure, two of the greatest living comic book writers of all time. I simply don't know what I do without them. Probably knit.
