On the 24th of November 1987, 72 year old Phillip John Jones went for his usual sunday morning walk in Crynant in the Welsh Valleys. He did not return. His family and the police have been looking for him ever since and despite an extensive search he was never found. In September 1998, 33 year old Mum of 7 Patricia Lashley disappeared from her home in Dudley in the West Midlands. Her disappearance did not raise concerns until nobody had heard from her by the next summer. On the 23rd of January 1989, Frederick and Miriam Dunkley arrived back to their home in Clifford Road in Wembley, London. The couple were a hard working pair looking forward to their retirement. Just 40 minutes later, a fire was spotted in the garage of their home. Frederick and Miriam were found murdered in their home. On the 23rd of December 1992, 14 year old Johanna Young headed out from her home in Watton in Norfolk. On April the 12th 2002, 71 year old Les Bate left his local pub The Maltsters Arms in Chapel Amble in North Cornwall. He went on his usual route to the farm where he lived close to the village. His family discovered his body 2 days later. Les had been murdered in his own home. On September the 7th 1974, 30 year old Tom Hewitt had been at his garage on Bright Street in Bury. At around 11:30am, a co-owner of the garage turned up and found Tom with severe head injuries. He later died from his injuries. In the early hours of the 14th August 1982, Gurcharan Singh Landa or John Landa as he was commonly known was stabbed 87 times in the taxi that he drove in Nottingham. A huge investigation was launched with a witness even seeing the murder take place however since then his murder has remained unsolved. On the 27th of August 2020, suspicious bin bags were reported floating in the River Stour in Sudbury in Suffolk. The bin bags were found to contain human bones and this person was named the Sudbury Man.
