Maybe I should be more impressed with Rony Kozman and Will Kynes, but I am not, and I blame them for that. When you purposely scour the planet for the thinkers of our day to help us wrestle with some of our most difficult questions about the most profound words in all of humanity, you kinda sorta meant to fade into the background, and I am grateful you boys are doing just that. Also, anyone representing any Alabama educational institution that is not the University of deserves your support.

I discovered this after searching specifically for a particular scholar and WHAT A FIND! I’ve been binge listening because the content is excellent and engaging. I don’t write many reviews but I really wanted to with this show as this is what real study is all about. This show has introduced me to a wide range of scholars, many of whom I want to hear again. The hosts’ questions are cogent and agenda free, rare these days. I’m sure a lot of work goes into producing these. THANK YOU!

Very accessible to the non scholar which I so love ! I appreciate the humility of the guests as they approach God’s Word and that in itself is instructive. I find myself waiting for the next podcast to drop !! I really appreciate the variety of the scholars and that expands my understanding and desire to know more . I would love to be able to ask questions/ clarification to the hosts after I listen to the podcast . Studying the Bible with you all is just fun !

I’ve been reading the Bible for over 40 years and learn something new and informative each time I listen to an episode. Hosts, Will & Robyn’s ask questions the person in the pew would ask. I appreciate the homework the hosts put into the topics and solid theological guests who are invited. Some hosts spend awkward and unnecessary time joking around and telling bro stories. Will and Rony jump right into the topic following a necessary intro of the guest. Two thumbs up!

I highly recommend this podcast. There is rate access to many wonderful scholars. Will and Rony, scholars themselves, are able to engage with expert guests to provide wonderful insights. And they have fun in ways that refresh the heart. I have listed to the entire series on Job. It is incredible. As I have begun Romans, I am find nothing less. I appreciate this unique experience and opportunity!

I’ve enjoyed the podcast thoroughly. The conversations address key interpretive issues and the implications for understanding the given texts as well as the entire Bible. It challenges one to take off blinders and to engage the word of God for what it is and says. For instance, the discussion with Dr. Jacob about “glory” as it appears in one of the most recognizable pieces of Scripture has transformed much of what I think and, subsequently, practice. There’s no telling how many times I’ve read those verses and heard sermons over those verses and yet always been left with a sense that I was not quite getting it. Their discussion changed that and unlocked something that previously had been inaccessible. This is a single example but the series is replete with similar opportunities. As a podcast, it is a unique way to foster Gen X/Millennial meditation on the mysteries of God.

The Two Testaments podcast is an excellent resource for those who are interested in biblical scholarship. The scholars that Kozman and Kynes bring on are world class.

I’ve benefitted from the diversity of guests on the program. The hosts do an amazing job guiding a constructive conversation about biblical texts. Rony and Will are enthusiastic about the subject matter and have enjoyable personalities, so this is no dry, formal dialogue. These are scholars in a room talking about truths that matter to them and in ways that elucidate understanding. It’s a joy to get to listen in!

I wanted to make a podcast like this but I’m so glad someone else has done it and done it so well.
