I just listened to the episode on Occurrance at Owl Creek Bridge. If you are listening for intelligent Twilight Zone discussion, don't. It's not that this podcast is bad, but I would advise against having high expectations as you listen. It took these guys a full 25 minutes to mention the short story by Ambrose Bierce. Did they realize this short film was based on the story? It sure didn't sound like it. It sounded like our hosts were simply reading Wikipedia to us, verbatim. Jeremy Schmidt and Ron Lechler crack each other up far more than they cracked me up, although I did love the discussion about bumper stickers on Model Ts. Listeners to this podcast will probably know more about the TZ episodes than the hosts will, which is why I say that you need to temper your expectations. If you simply want to be entertained, then go ahead and listen. If, however, you're looking for even marginal insight into the Twilight Zone, you could save yourself some time and simply go check out Wikipedia yourself.

I've been listening for awhile now but what convinced me to leave a review was the recent "Howling Man " episode. I loved it and it showed me I can't always judge a episode by it's title. I enjoyed hearing you speak about the topics and wanted to share something with you. Both of you I believe had mentioned that you weren't religious and didn't believe in God, I know I can't convince you otherwise in a review but I would like you to consider this idea please ......if your even reading this. Alright so picture this , when you were born , you had no knowledge of anything. Everything you learned was taught or experienced . Before you were taught anything you had no limits of your imagination and most likely believed that anything could happen. Then over time you started to develop your own world view based on what you learned and viewed yourself. Who's to say that just because you can't see something it doesn't exist, or can't prove something that it can't be proven. All I'm saying is that if it can't be proven wrong then why dismiss it. This is eternity guys , it's worth looking into , and believing in God does make a difference in your life, help you with struggles and maintain true righteousness not just conform to the morality of the present culture(which constantly changes). Everyone's soul is in jeopardy and we need Christ our savior because he gave us salvation when he died for all of our sins and rise again. Again I ask you should you really dismiss something if it can't be proven wrong or at all. All I'm asking is to keep an open mind. Also the devil uses our own desires to tempt us. If it's not a desire of ours then we won't be tempted by it. Lastly if you want to look at a true version of what a Christian looks like then look at Christ, and ask yourself why wouldn't you want to be like him ? Take care guys and keep up the good work.

I love the twilight zone and it might be possible that I love this podcast about the twilight zone even more! The hosts are funny and it's just pure fun!!

In the room where I live there is only one sound: The Twilight Zone Zone. Actually, that's inaccurate, there are a lot of sounds; my feet on the concrete, the sound of the oatmeal against the inside of my throat, random air raid sirens. But The Twilight Zone Zone is the only constant. I think if I were living a normal life; going to coffee shops, petting real dogs, whatever, I would enjoy this podcast. It's funny, irreverent, and the hosts allow a larger conversation to take place around The Twilight Zone rather than being slavishly dedicated to talking about trivia. But I am not living a normal life. I am in this room. The sounds of Jeremy and Ron boom over the hidden speakers (I have traced my hands along the angles of the walls in the dark searching for speaker cables. One moment of silence would be angelic) and their voices have intertwined with the voice in my head. I believe this podcast is very good. But I can no longer trust my own thoughts.

Have been a fan of TTZ since I was 7. These guys treat the show with respect while offering insight to the individual episodes with just the right amount of humor. A great way to make the commute just a little easier and they don't try to impress with a bunch on nonsensical jargon. Maybe when they're done with TZ they'll move on to The Outer Limits.

Fun show with great guests that offer personal insight into the themes of certain episodes. Getting a ballet dancer for Five Characters in Search of an Exit was especially interesting.

Jeremy and Ron have not only created a comedic and thought provoking commentary on this show they also offer new insights and perspective onto the writing, characters and filmmaking. This in turn creates an educational listen that many creators and viewers can learn a lot from. Their ever expanding list of guests makes each listen a unique experience that will have you wanting to call in from work and binge through the series again.

If you're looking for a Twilight Zone podcast with all the humor of a Level 1 improv class that your coworker made you go to, and all the insight of a sophomore philosophy class that you can't drop, look no further! The hosts seem like decent guys but a) they know very little about the Twilight Zone and in many cases didn't even bother to Google basic information and b) they're not entertaining enough to make up for that lack of insight. The basic run of the podcast is them recapping out the plot in an awkward way, then having a riffy conversation with a friend about the implications of the episode. Again, they seem like good guys, but the talk rarely gets much deeper than "wow this message about conformity is still relevant today huh?" Simply put, it's another podcast where two LA comedy guys record themselves being LA comedy guys for an hour, slap an MP3 together and call it a podcast...and guess what, they're looking for a sponsor! If you're looking for an informative Twilight Zone podcast, check out Tom Eliot's show, "The Twilight Zone Podcast," it's very well produced, informative and entertaining. I was so excited about this podcast but really wish you would have done the episodes in order of the tv show. Wanting to watch the tv episodes prior to listening to the podcast, I found it too annoying to search for each episode.

In it, you'll find a great podcast. There are quite a few Twilight Zone podcasts out there and, well, they're all terrible. This one, however, is super fun and entertaining. The hosts do a nice job balancing serious dissection of each episode's philosophy and joking about the campiness of the show. My biggest issue with other podcasts is that they were more making fun of the sillier moments than actually talking about the episodes. This show does a nice job of teasing the episodes for their cheesiness without being irreverent toward one of the greatest TV shows of all time. Keep doing great work (and please do The Obsolete Man).

Only five episodes deep (at the time that I'm writing this) and I'm hooked. The Twilight Zone Zone, like the series it dissects, is situated in an 'in-between space'. It feels like a cross between lectures from the best critical film class you've ever taken and eavesdropping in on a zippy conversation between comedy writers. Ron and Jeremy are sharp, informed, and fun. Each of their guests have brought unique and fascinating perspectives to the table. I am a big fan of the academic readings of The Twilight Zone that this podcast has offered so far. It's refreshing, pleasantly nostalgic (makes me think of my mom, a childhood TZ fan), and has made me appreciate the series in a deeper way. Much love to you guys — keep on jammin :)

To genuine funny boys review and analyze the greatest anthology series of all time I bet of Rod Sterling were alive today he would choose this podcast over all the other Podcasts involving the show all right Siri stop stop Siri I'm done writing this and review Siri and stop stop stop stop stop stop stop

Been an avid listener since episode 1 and I'm hooked! Ron and Jeremy offer fun and insightful commentary on different Twilight Zone episodes. I was never a huge fan of The Twilight Zone, but this made me obsessed with rewatching episodes. I'm excited to see what the future of this podcast holds.

Sorry guys can't give you a glowing review like the others. Jeremy needs to get on meds - he is loud and talks over others and too many people talking at once. I was expecting a more thoughtful analysis of the episodes. Instead it appears to be a platform for your stand up routines. I know that each person has a right to their own take on the meaning so I won't go there. Oh my gawd - the ValleySpeak/Vocal Fry/Hollywood jargon needs to go. In Nick Of Time, Bread and Butter is an old superstitious blessing which is said when lovers or loved ones that are holding hands must let go when they let go of each other to go around opposite sides of a tree, post ets. The twilight zone is the time between light and dark. Do you not listen to the opening? It describes twilight zone in the context of the program. Also, try listening to the end narration. They can be very moving and relevant to these days. Finally, the actor that played Gart in A Stop In Willoughby was the father of Tim and Tyne Daly. A look at the actors could be interesting to listeners. Burgess Meridith was a respected actor from 1935 to the day he died.

I've always loved The Twilight Zone and I'm glad there's a podcast specifically for that love.

I have not heard 'like' used so many times per sentence since my daughter was 13 and had a sleepover. These guys may be funny, may be 'writers' as they claim but they talk...like (here the word is used properly please note) two tweener valley girls. And there is just not near enough good content to counterbalance this verbal abuse. Hate to be a hater but this is lame. I love TZ and Rod Serling deserves far better treatment. Ouch.

There are a few Twilight Zone podcasts out there on iTunes, some of which started strong but faded (for whatever reason), others that have stayed the course and are still going strong. This show is looking to be one of the latter. Though only 3 episodes in, I'm hoping that Jeremy and Ron keep up the great work they've put into the show so far and continue to make the shared TZ podcast genre such a strong source of quality content
