Carol is a South African expat and Counselling Psychologist currently living and working in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She moved to The Netherlands as a Trailing Spouse in May 2021 when her husband was offered a fantastic work opportunity. With this new adventure she decided to move her practice exclusively online.  She currently works with clients from across the globe and enjoy the flexibility this has brought to her life. This is a life update episode on how I have been doing since moving to the Netherlands.  I am happy but in other aspects of my life, I can definitely use some comfort. I have finally reached 30 years of my life on this earth and what a ride! Many lessons have been learned, from friends and family but the best lesson yet has been to appreciate life and time. We get too consumed with the world and material stuff that we forget to fully live life and forgive ourselves for the things we did not have control over. I hope that with 30, there will be wisdom and lots of love around me, not forgetting money, please!  Happy Birthday to me!!!! So many things have happened since the start of the pandemic and this is me trying podcasting for the second time.
