Every Sunday night @8pm, La’Vender will share a recap of their weekly findings on this podcast. This year long project will re-examine narratives of the past, to help reclaim our power in the present and assist us in remembering the visions of our future.

In this first episode of The Sunscreen Conspiracy, La'vender Freddy introduces the project/case and attempts to articulate a structure for the work. Listeners are invited to listen to circular ramblings and sober projections of an artist grappling with authenticity of RE-presentation. Can art be honest? Can performance be authentic? You can hear the uncertainty of it all, but  it is this "uncertainty" which lays down a foundation and a place for the listener to transport themselves into a more authentic moment in such a made up world.
