The Sunny Sundae Hour
The Sunny Sundae Hour
Maggie Thecat & Hina McCord
Once upon a time, sunshine girls Hina and Maggie met on the job and became fast friends but now they live in different cities. Come join us as we talk about life, getting through the week, what we saw, ate, felt, liked, and NOT liked! Our show tends to center around anime but wherever our conversations take us, we follow, which sometimes results in some random stuff. But what is life, if not random?
Just The Tip Went In
So this week Hina tells us about an interesting new anime she watched, Burning Kabbadi. We also wonder about the final season of Fruits Basket (which we actually haven't seen yet) and the reason why Maggie didn't watch any anime this time was the excellent Mare of Easttown. Also, life in general, which was pretty uneventful these past few weeks (which we are totally grateful for!) and some hopeful future plans.

Don't Look Down on Househusbands!
Maggie and Hina are back with more ruminations about Tsurune and the BL vibes we got, and Maggie finally watched Gokushufudo, AKA The Way of the Househusband (and loved it)! We also talk about getting our first vaccine dose, and Maggie fills us in on the Funko "Pop Yourself" experience. Hina hits up Honest Abe for some quotes that still resonate today, and we talk for a bit about some of the dilemmas we face as we get older, before falling back into some more- you guessed it, random Haikyu ramblings.

Hold Life Loosely
Ahoy-hoy! Hina and Maggie are back, talking our usual anime talk and discussing brand new shows like Gokushufudou (Way of the Househusband), as well as Tsurune, and Jump stalwart My Hero Academia. Hina tells us about her less-than-stellar experience using the app 7 Cups, and Maggie had a thing happen that reminded her that nothing is permanent. And, how to tell when you're not that into him? (Hint: It's in his kiss, that's where it is, oh yeah~) (but often, sometimes you know even before that)

The Mountains of Hakone Are the Steepest in the World!
We have a jampacked episode for you this week! Hina and Maggie discuss the running anime Run With the Wind, while still managing to bring the focus back to Haikyu!! (are we obsessed!? Quite possibly). We get serious for a moment to talk about what it is to be a woman navigating the world, from safety to body image issues. Hina tells us about how she came to realize that she loved her chickens, and Maggie had a no-good, horrible week that triggered her trypophobia big time. Come join us!

I Don't Want to Regret How I Lived My Life
Happy Pi Day everyone! Hina and Maggie are back for even more Kuroko talk, as well as a current show, Jujutsu Kaisen. Maggie also finished Veronica Mars for the first time and had some thoughts about that last season (S4) and the ending (#burntmarshmallow)! Speaking of marshmallows, it's coming up on that time of year for pastel marshmallow chicks and chocolate eggs and springtime means new sprouts are on the way...

If There Are Any Limits I Will Surpass Them
Hina and Maggie are back this week, playing the F/M/K game with Kuroko's Basketball characters. Maggie started a new anime called Jujutsu Kaisen, and the conversation meanders into the difficulties of translating in an accurate yet natural way. We mention some old non-anime shows we've been bingeing, and discuss various health issues like getting that exercise and how to increase fiber in your diet (exciting, we know!). Also, sharks are scary!!

Hello Out There
Hello World! This is our first attempt at this medium (longtime listeners, first time casters?!) so we are seriously just fumbling our way through. You’ll hear all our mistakes and blunders, but hopefully you’ll also hear how much fun we are having!
