Come join Cara Parker as she interviews local comedian, musician and all around creative person, Lucia Fasano about her experiences in a performing arts high school in Simi Valley, California. Lucia teaches us which cliques were cool, shares a song she wrote as a freshman and a very emo status update from her AOL instant messenger account.  Our theme music this week is from her high school jazz choir from which some of her best memories were made.  We also learn that Britney Spears was confusing and Weird Al stands the test of time.  Come take a trip with us back to "the valley" from 2007-2011 on The Student Council Podcast. 

Come along with Beth and Cara as we interviewed the ever-charming Portland comedian, Gail Murphy (Murphy O'Brien).  Gail took us back to 1971 in Jericho, New York.  Gail talked with us about her love of The Beatles, field trips to Manhattan,  her crush on a boy with stylish socks and her dream to break gender barriers and become a police officer in a time when girls weren't even allowed to wear jeans to school (spoiler alert: she reached her dream as an adult).
