Jodi Long was born in New York into a family of entertainers, trained in the craft in high school through college, and manifested an amazing career as a star actress on stage, and in TV and film. For many years, she has served as a local and national leader of SAG-AFTRA, working to create more opportunities for, and support, under-represented communities of performers. Always full of humor, wisdom, and grace, Jodi graciously sat down with me to share her journey in the profession of acting, her expansion into union leadership, and her insight into the challenges facing our union from inside the highest halls of leadership.
