This is one of the best story’s that I have ever heard!!!!!!

The Story Geeks Podcast is doing what most geek style shows aren’t. They’re not just going deep into our favorite storylines or characters but adding the philosophy and psychological implications that most podcasts don’t. Breaking down characters like Thanos, Superman, Aquaman and more for our enjoyment. Story Geeks is a must listen!

I like story geeks they are pretty good and as said on the nerdsync podcast it’s not that bad I once stubbed my toe

The Story Geeks take “popcorn” and turn it into a meaty discussion. They pull out underlying themes and questions that exist in geekery that I never would have even considered. They discuss topics that are fun, relevant, outrageous, or heavy with tact, respect, and best of all, humor and levity. Keep up the good work, Geeks!

There are a lot of shows and podcasts out there that review geeky stories; there are very few out there that dig deeper into those stories to explore what they can tell us about life, the universe, and everything. I love how the Story Geeks are able to bring a variety of perspectives about the world together to ask big questions through fantasy, scifi, and comic book movies.

I love this podcast. Jay and Daryl are so funny and thoughtful, and have such interesting guests with so many conflicting perspectives, and yet everyone has fun and respects each others’ take. It’s amazing how these guys can see this deeper level to even “light” superhero movies. Listening is like having a conversation at dinner with smart, geeky friends after watching a blockbuster - they end up talking about this deep stuff (world views, right and wrong, politics, spiritual perspectives, etc.) without insulting anybody and having a lot of fun. You just walk away feeling good. I recommend it to all my fellow geeks and deep thinkers!

Really Cool Podcast I definitely recommend it!

These guys are doing so many things right! The story geeks is a must-subscribe-to podcast for anyone who wants to dissect their favorite movies beyond just a typical movie review! The story geeks are open-minded, respectful, and can be goofy as well as serious. The story geeks community is often described by all the members, participators, and listeners as a safe space to geek out!

Definitely worth a pause and listen! Always know I’ll come away with more then I went in. Thanks :)

This podcast is simultaneously thought provoking, spiritually nourishing, and just straight up fun. It is rare to find something so binge worthy that leaves you feeling smarter and edified. Great stuff!

This is some geektastic podcasting right here! Great listen, and they’re all sensitive lovers too, I imagine.

Where so many geek podcasts offer only trivia and theories about what may or may not happen next, Story Geeks takes a sometimes sober, often HI-LARIOUS look at the depths of the worlds and characters our favorite auteurs create. Asking questions like: what is Joker's worldview? And what exactly does the Upside Down represent? Jay and a rotating cast of fellow geeks explore the story behind these stories. This podcast is a must listen for any comic book, sci fi, or fantasy geek. Relevant, thought provoking audio for your commute or as the companion to your next movie night.

Many shows attempt to do what The Story Geeks Podcast does, but few do it as well as Jay and his crew. Every bit of media that we consume carries with it ideas, questions, and presuppositions, and this podcast does an excellent job helping people think through those matters. If you are looking for a show to help you think deeper about issues that you are already subconsciously thinking about, I strongly recommend Story Geeks.

You guys have a great way of digging deeper, but not just for the fun of it. You do it to find truth and to then share that truth with people. You can guarantee I'll be listening to all your episodes.

It's easy to consume media day in and day out without much thought, even ignoring how its messages may be impacting how I see the world. Story Geeks gets me thinking about what I watch, read, and listen to; in fact, it helps me learn how to think better about a lot of things. I'm not really a geek, but I love stories, and I believe it's important to carefully consider the messages that stories convey. Otherwise, we spend hours upon hours of our lives passively absorbing media without recognizing its effects—both positive and negative—on our hearts, minds, and souls.

This podcast takes some of the most beloved fandoms and dives deeeeeep into the stories, themes, and messages in them. I love that I'm not alone in wanting to unpackage and examine the heck outta geek stories. Jay, Daryl, and the variety of guests speak my language!

Highly entertaining, great points of view. Love the seeking of truth aspect in all the podcasts.

With other podcasts or informational discussions or blogs I find myself lost as there is probably a generational gap which I fail to bridge. Not so, with The Reclamation Society. I am intrigued and fascinated with the ideas and thoughts and interpretations presented by Jay Sherer, the Reclamation Society team and their guests. I find myself thinking about aspects of my Christian faith that I might have missed out on without these young dynamic champions of Truth. Thank you. Prayers for continued success and abundant blessings.

I love this podcast. Host Jay has a great way of extracting meaning and spiritual depth out of all the geeky stories we love. He has on many diverse guests as well offering unique perspectives. Definitely a must-listen-to podcast for me!

This podcast satisfies all my nerd/comic/and Star Wars cravings. Jay has a great way of pulling out deeper themes that I never would have thought of on my own. There's plenty of different topics they cover from Stranger Things to Star Wars to Super Hero movies. It's one of the few podcasts I actually recommend to my friends!
